LOL In my defence, i lost my account details so was unable to log in, but i have finally re-gained access to it so intend to make up for lost time. I will be updating my blog with some xmas cards i have been making, i have two to show to you today, i hope you like them.

This first card is made using Clarity stamps (as most of my cards are as i love them !), i really enjoyed making this one, i stamped and masked the reindeer and stamped the sentiment in versamark before brayering the background, i then re-stamped the sentiment using a black adirondack ink-pad and stamped it slightly down and to the left a little to give a cool 3D effect (which takes a little bit of bravery and a steady hand !). For the border, i masked a straight edge of card and stamped the snowflake and used a make-up sponge to apply some blue ink around the edges for definition. The base card has an acetate wrap around it and i really like this snowfall acetate from HunkyDory, it's fab !

My next card is also using Clarity stamps, for this card i wanted a very contemporary feel, i used silver gilding flakes on the moon, and promarkers on the fairy, on her wings i used a silver Krylon pen, the background is a 12"x12" paper from Craft Creations, i do love their backing papers and this one was such a perfect fit for the look i wanted to achieve that i had to use it ! I used the same technique on the borders as on the previous card, except i embossed the stars using silver embossing powder, which i also did for the stars in the background and for the sentiment.

I can't promise i'll update it as regularly as others, but i'll try my best !

I thought for my first post i'd show you one of my recent cards, using what i'm currently obsessed with, Clarity stamps and krylon pens !

So here it is, i made it for my sister for her birthday, i'm in love with Clarity stamps, they give such a professional finish and a perfect impression every single time.
I used versamark ink and detail gold embossing powder for the swirls, sentiment, rose and leaves. The sentiment reads "A single rose can be my garden, A single friend my world" isn't that a lovely sentiment. I used a gold krylon pen to edge the inner panel and a strip of organza-style ribbon along the edge of the card, i hope you like it !

I'm still new to blogging, but hopefully i'll be able to liven my blog up with some new gadgets and posts soon, thanks for stopping by !! Marc Marc Southallhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11021886765677076921noreply@blogger.com770
